Biography:

Negin Mohseni Nejad (b. 1971, married in 1996) has a BFA in painting. She has been drawing from early age, and has worked under several masters in Iran and the US. She has exhibited her artwork in many states, and teaches at CCBC/SAIL. Her main interest is portrait drawing and painting.

Honors and Awards:

1995, Selected designer for Iranian astronomy magazine (Nojoom) cover design.

1999, "Best Award" Chehre Gallery, Tehran, Iran for "Ornament Reflection."

2013, Finalist of the Art Renewal Center International (ARC Salon) Competition for "Shadow" category: drawing.

2017, Finalist in "Portrait Society of America" category: "Out of the Box" for "Cleopatra."

2018, 7th place in "Portrait Society of America" category: "Out of the Box"

for "Reflection." 2019, Finalist of the Art Renewal Center International (ARC Salon) Competition for "Dream" category: drawing.

2019, Finalist in "Portrait Society of America" category: "Non-commissioned" for "Zorn Palette."

2019, 5th place in "Portrait Society of America" category: "Commission" for "The Veteran."
