His work focuses on themes of fantasy and pulls from influences such as Sargent, Parrish, and Thayer. Nick’s training includes courses with Palden Hamilton and Johannes Voss, and his work has been featured in the King’s Courtyard Collective. Nick seeks to teach literacy in digital painting, a newer method that uses graphics editing software and touch-sensitive tablets. He first started exploring the medium after discovering entertainment industry illustration and concept art. His work is informed with traditional painting techniques, and introduces genre and storytelling
