Brandon is a rare artist-educator – equally adept at guiding adults through the demanding techniques of Old Master realism and mentoring high school students as they discover personal meaning and direction in their art.
At Zoll Studio, Brandon is the founder and sole instructor for High School Art Studio—the school’s flagship program for emerging teen artists. Designed for both portfolio-bound students and those pursuing personal growth, the program fosters technical mastery, visual storytelling, and artistic confidence.
His award-winning paintings are held in private collections along the Eastern Seaboard. As a teacher, Brandon is known for his empowering approach: rather than fostering dependence, he equips each student with a deep, transferable skillset and the ability to shape their own creative voice.
Brandon holds a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from UNC Chapel Hill, completed a Medical Illustration internship at IUPUI in Indianapolis, and trained extensively at Zoll Studio in the methods of the Old Masters. Before turning full-time to painting and teaching, he worked as a senior exhibit and graphic designer for major institutions including the Indianapolis Zoo & White River Gardens and the world’s largest Children’s Museum in Indianapolis.
